Ok, as you all seem interested in the didactics of creating succesful online learning conversations, here is a little article I just wrote based on my experiences as a teacher.
This is quite a fast first draft but sums up my personal vision on how to make it work..

Btw, I borrowed the notion of 'online learning conversations from Bellamy, 1997), as being: "Conversations that lead to learning because they allow participants to make connections between previously unrelated ideas, see old ideas in a new way, and lead to conceptual change”
